The weekend trip from Georgetown to Cumberland on the C&O canal towpath was so much fun! It was a perfect blend of challenging and relaxing. With Claire’s guidance and the support of a small group, I found myself able to bike further than I thought I could in three days. Our group bonded so quickly with each other and I made memories that I’ll cherish for a long long time!
Yes, we ran into a few problems (bad weather, mud, mechanical failures, etc.), but that’s just part of the thrill of bikepacking. Through every problem we faced, Claire was prepared to help all of us get back up and running, organize accommodations, and even cook us a couple treats like hot chocolate on a cold night 🙂
I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. I already booked my next trip!
